  • Where do you see clients?
    We meet at our secluded practice in the heart of Kings Heath, Birmingham 14. The practice has been carefully designed to create a calm, safe, confidential and relaxing environment.
  • How long does therapy last?
    Each weekly session lasts for fifty minutes. I offer open-ended therapy but we can discuss a fixed number of sessions if you prefer. We will discuss how counselling is helping and review our work on a regular basis.
  • What does therapy cost?
    Individual sessions are charged at £50. I sometimes have availability to offer appointments at a reduced rate - please contact me to discuss this.
  • How do I pay for therapy?
    You will be issued with an invoice for each session. Payment can be made by card, cash or BACS transfer.
  • Is counselling confidential?
    All sessions are conducted in strictest confidence. Confidentiality may only be broken in very limited and specific circumstances: Where you give consent to break confidentiality. Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or others. Where I am required by law. The practice is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. All client data is managed in accordance with GDPR legislation.
  • What is your professional membership?
    I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice under their Ethical and Professional Code. A copy of the BACP ethical code and complaint procedure is available online at www.bacp.co.uk.
